The Travelers
This page is for some of the bunnies that have found other homes, and eventually, for the bunnies that have passed out of this life and into the next. We love them all, and wish them a safe and happy journey.

KD's Velvet Elvis
Black Otter Jr. Buck
Sire: Wolf's Mikey (Black Otter) Dam: Hilton's Top Secret (Black) at a, B_, C_, D_, E_ Velvet Elvis is a handsome buck with GREAT type when posed properly, and excellent extension. He's a bit long in the ear, but they actually balance well with his body. But he's got a wonderful inquisitive nature and gentle temperament, and is a very natural poser now that he knows what to do. He has joined Eight Ball in Washington. KD's Hera
REW Sr. Doe
Sire: KD's Peppermint Butler (REW) Dam: PH's Lydia (Sable Marten) at_, __, cc, __, __ As much as REW is not one of my favorite colors, Hera is a doe I will miss. She has a sweet gentle nature and was stylish and typey as well. She is in Michigan now with her new owner, who has dubbed her Juno since she already has a Hera in her barn. I wish her the best of luck, and hope she gets some lovely babies from her. KD's Eight Ball
Black Sr. Doe
Sire: Wolf's Ballr (Black) Dam: Bloobaloobie (Blue Otter) aa, B_, C_, Dd, E_ Eight favors her father in stature, being a very small fine little rabbit. She is shorter coupled, but as she's gotten older, has developed into a very elegant little doe. She makes her home in Washington State now, and hopefully be a great mom for her new owner. Hilton's Taya
Broken Black Sr. Doe
Sire: Rene's BIC (Broken Black) Dam: Hilton's Pepper (Black) a a, B_, C_, D_, E_, En en Taya was my start in Brokens. She throws beautiful kits despite the lack of nose marking. Since I have her daughter, KD's Agate, she got to move on to a new Brit breeder. Thanks go to Jumi Honda, who took this photo of Taya when I got her. KD's Jasper
Broken Chestnut Jr. Doe
Sire: KD's Peppermint Butler (REW) Dam: Hilton's Taya (Broken Black) Aa, B_, Cc, D_, E_,En en Very pretty as well as sweet tempered little doe that went to New York with her new owner. As beautiful as she is, her sister (KD's Agate) is a little more flashy, so we decided to keep her instead. We hope Jasper does great things in New York. Polynesian's Grey Village (Harrier)Grey Sr. Buck
Sire: Polynesian's Grey Twister (Grey) Dam: Berry's Uptown Riches (Grey) A_,B_,C_,D_,Ee, En en Handsome Harrybun has been a wonderful rabbit for us, although we didn't really do much with him. He wasn't show quality with the stiff competition in CA, and once we moved away from breeding spots, he really just ended up being a bit of a pet. But his new owner took him and Butterscotch for her gold project, and has already had good results. I hope he has a great time making lovely gold babies for his new owner. Polynesian's Golden Surprise (Butterscotch)
Gold Sr. Doe
Sire: Polynesian's Apache Lightening (Dark Extension Chestnut - Visual Black) Dam: Polynesian's Bright Stardust (Blue) aa,Bb,C_,Dd,ee, En en Butterscotch was the founder of our gold project, that never got off the ground for us. She is a silly happy doe that we moved on to a buyer who wanted to work with golds, and took her and Harrybun. We just heard that their first litter produced 2 golds, and 3 greys. A quantifiable success. KD's Mopsey (Registered)
Chestnut Agouti Sr. Doe
Sire: KD's Pippin (Sable Agouti) Dam: Hilton's Foo Fighter (Black Otter) Aa, B_, C c, D_, E_ 8 BoB, 6 BoV, 1 BosV 5 legs of Grand Champion Grand Champion PENDING KD's Mopsey is a much beloved doe and good dam, but one ultimately I had bred enough, and it was time to move on. Unfortunately just after I sold her, I lost the doe I was keeping from her last litter with me, so if her buyer ever decides they don't want her anymore, we will take her back. I do miss her. KD's Diamond Drops
Lilac Spot Sr. Doe
Sire: Horn's Pongo (Chocolate Spot) Dam: Horn's Perdita (Chocolate Spot) aa,bb,C_,dd,E_ Enen 2 Grand Champion Legs Diamond along with Polynesian's Apache Youngberry and S.W.'s Mr. Goodbar were traded as a trio to Linda Bell, for a nice trio of Mini Satins to get started in the breed. Hopefully the spots will prove useful, and I look forward to working with the minis. Of course I will especially miss Diamond, who was a lovely silly doe with some very nice markings. KD's PippinSable Agouti Sr. Buck
Sire: Ihrke's Cobalt (Chestnut Agouti) Dam: Hilton's Foo Fighter (Black Otter) A_,B_,cchl c,D_,E_ Mr. Pipster has sired some of my best brits, and is the main buck in most of my lines. So I felt it best to move him on to someone else who could use him, and make more beautiful babies. He will be missed but he'll continue to enjoy the girls. Tasia's Janet x Mojito (Bindy Boots)
Siamese Sable Sr. Doe
Sire: Krismo's Mojito (Sable Marten) Dam: Tasia's Janet (Chestnut Agouti) aa,B_,cchl c,D_,E_ My little girl, Bindy Boodlebun has moved on to do more important things than stay with me. She has gone to Debbie Hilton to make lots of cute Siamese Sable babies for their presentation at the national convention next year. I miss her terribly, but I felt it was more important to help out Debbie, and all the Siamese Sable breeders out there get this beautiful variety passed, rather than keep her to myself. Hill's Sabelle
Sable Marten Sr. Doe

Hilton's Foo FighterBlack Otter Britannia Petite Doe
Foo Fighter was my first Britannia Petite and my favorite color, Black Otter. She was a fantastic foundation doe, with a wonderful temperament and great personality. Sadly we lost her well before her time, when she died kindling. She will be sorely missed and always has a place in my heart. Bun'Nays mismark Opal Buck (Hanzo)Opal Mismark Britannia Petite Buck
Hanzo was one of the first Britannia Petites I owned. He was a very sweet shy little bun. He loved getting treats, and playing in or on top of his castle. Unfortunately, he went off his feed when the weather turned cold unexpectedly, and this was exacerbated when we discovered he was allergic to hay, when we went to winterize his cage. He will be missed. KD's Spider Monkey
Black Otter Britannia Petite Doe
Spidey was one of the sweetest does I have ever had born in my rabbitry, always clamoring for attention yet still showing the intelligent spark that is so much a part of being a Petite. She got BOB and a leg in her very first show, and then died 3 days later of unknown causes. I miss her very much, and am greatly saddened by her loss. |
