Britannia Petite Does
KD's Cleopatra
Black Sr. Doe
Sire: S.W.'s Chives (Opal) Dam: Tasia's Bindy Boots (Siamese Sable) aa, B_, Cc, Dd, E_ 1 BoB |
Notes:
Cleo is Bindy's first baby, who I had to handfeed since she was a singleton. She is tiny and delicate like her momma. She is somewhat full of herself due to being a pampered baby though, and often acts like she owns the world. But she is a nice doe none-the-less, even if she only poses when she feels like it. As she got older, a couple toenails on one of her feet faded so she can no longer be shown. She has proven to be a good mother and with Peppermint Butler, produced some of my best kits, including BIS winner KD's Eevee - owned by Widow Haven Rabbitry. |
Hilton's Top Secret
Black Sr. Doe
Sire: Hilton's Dash (Tort - Black) Dam: Hilton's No Name (Black) aa, B_, C_, Dd, Ee |
Notes:
Black brood doe purchased to work on improving eyes in my lines. Nice and small, but big big eyes! She's got the bonus of carrying non-extension, so with a little work, I might be able to get some tort babies. Also very easy to handle, and enjoys her head scratched. She is a bit shyer than some of my other does though. |
Wolf's Portia - Registered
Black Otter Sr. Doe
Sire: Hilton's Booyah (Sable Marten) Dam: Krismo's Corsair (Black Otter) Registered at_, B_, C cchl, Dd, E_ |
Notes:
Portia is a good tempered proven brood doe in my favorite color, black otter. She has a nice bold eye, and is fairly well proportioned although she has a bit of a tummy in this photo. She came from another So-Cal brit owner who is moving more along the line of Spots and Rabbit hopping. I really appreciate the opportunity to get Portia, since I have severely missed Foo Fighter. |
KD's Agate
Broken Chestnut Sr. Doe
Sire: KD's Peppermint Butler (REW) Dam: Hilton's Taya (Broken Black) Aa, B_, Cc, D_, E_, En en |
Notes:
Agate is a really flashy doe. She's got a lovely pattern, with prominent cheek spots (my favorite, yet unrequired marking) and beautiful type. (She is 4 days from kindling in this photo so doesn't have quite as girlish a figure here though.) She's more hormonal and cage territorial that I prefer, which has kept her from showing as a Sr. but hopefully with a few litters behind her, she'll calm down. |
KD's Ceylon
Broken Chestnut Sr. Doe
Sire: Wolf's Ballr (Black) Dam: KD's Agate (Broken Chestnut) Aa, B_, C_, D_, E_, En en |
Notes:
Like her momma, Ceylon is an exciting doe. In type she is equal to, or better than her brother, who took second place broken Jr. at ARBA convention. Her body markings are actually better than his, with the exception of the missing nose marking. She's got a bit of her mother's sass, but nowhere near as much piss and vinegar. She also calms down quickly for head pets. I wish she was showable, but I will take brood capabilities instead. |
KD's Bloobaloobie
Blue Otter Sr. Doe
Sire: Unknown Dam: Unknown ata, B_, Cc, dd, E_ |
Notes:
Bloobie is my rescue doe. She was found abandoned at ARBA convention, and despite actually finding both her breeder and buyer, no one voiced any sincere interest in retrieving her. Having cared for her for over a year so far, I consider her a part of my herd. She has a very soft temperament, and is a very pretty doe, type-wise. She has bred well for me, producing excellently marked and colored otters, brokens, and blacks. |
Hilton's X1 (Molasses)
Seal Sr. Doe
Sire: Hilton's K2 (Siamese Sable) Dam: Hilton's 8T (Siamese Sable) aa, B_, cchl cchl, D_, E_ |
Notes:
Molasses was a trade from Debbie so I could help her work on the siamese sable project. She's a pretty doe, and hopefully will begin producing Siamese Sables in short order. She's just hit breeding age though, so we'll have to get the ball rolling first. |
Britannia Petite Herd Sires
KD's Icicle
REW Sr. Buck
Sire: Wolf's Mikey (Broken Black Otter) Dam: Bloobaloobie (Blue Otter) __, __, c c, __, __, En_ |
Notes:
Icicle is a handsome buck with a great eye (although this picture doesn't really capture that) a well shaped head, and a great looking and feeling body. He's 12 weeks old in this photo, and and going through baby molt, but you can see the length of limb, fineness of bone, and beautiful body type. He can be faulted on his ears being a bit too long, but when full posed he has the leg and length to balance it well. The only other detractor is unattractive ankles, which while they are not weak, are more obvious that one would prefer. On the plus side, he may carry Broken. |
Wolf's Ballr
Black Sr. Buck
Sire: Wolf's Chaos (Black) Dam: Krismo's Corsair (Black Otter) |
Notes:
Ballr is a fantastic little brood buck. He has great type, and is a refined, tiny little man weighing in at under 2lbs.. Unfortunately he's unshowable due to a sibling assisted partial neutering when he was young. Thankfully though, what he doesn't have, hasn't been a problem, since he's already produced for us. He's quite spritely, so getting good photo of him has not be easy. |
Canterbury's Tom Selleck - Registered
Black Otter Sr. Buck
Sire: Canterbury's Louie (Black Otter) Dam: Canterbury's JX (Chestnut Agouti) at_, B_, C_, D_, E_ 3 Legs of Grand Champion Grand Champion PENDING |
Notes:
My one purchase at Race to Indy in 2011. This handsome fellow while not posing well here, is stunning when he is. Nice straight front legs with strong ankles. A good head and ear, and balance throughout. He's got great color too, with well delineated otter markings that has passed on beautifully to his kits. He also has a soft temperament and enjoys attention and his head being scratched, which I appreciate greatly in a brit I didn't raise. He also has an endearing habit of carrying around a cardboard moustache when he wants attention. |
KD's Peppermint Butler - Registered
REW Sr. Buck
Sire: KD's Pippin (Sable Agouti) Dam: Ihrke's 2 Argon (REW) A_, __, c c, _d, __ 11 legs of Grand Champion 1 BIS Grand Champion PENDING |
Notes:
Peppermint Butler is a really handsome buck. He's got really nice type and poses very well (although he looks a bit like a dwarf in this picture.) He is also nice and small, with well shaped and sized ears in proportion to his body, and a pretty good bold eye. All this in addition to a gentle personality, and calm demeanor. His favorite thing other than having his head scratched, is romancing his favorite whiffle ball. He has gone on to be a primary herd buck, and is now producing BIS winners. |
